The new education situation has initiated great changes of education thoughts in maths,which in turn results in the creation of maths curriculum criterion and the reform of teaching materialand teaching method. A great number of maths teachers are in agreement on the point that the application of maths is the main part of maths education reform and the sense of maths application should be cultivated in order to improve the teaching quality of maths application.The current education curriculum reform has to develop students’ mathematical application awareness as one of the basic philosophy of the middle school mathematics curriculum, we has done a lot of math word problems, which allows us to appreciate mathematics with a wide range of applications. However, the actual problem is much more complex than applied math, so it is necessary to further develop students’ interest in mathematics and mathematical applications consciousness mathematical modeling activity in secondary schools. Mathematical modeling is the mathematical application of the bridge, at the same time, to improve the teaching level of teachers, students analyze problems and problem-solving capacity has a significant role of mathematical modeling activity.Feel this article through my own practice, systematic exposition of three from modeling awareness teaching modeling instance, modeling, educational modeles to learn the value of the mathematical modeling. This paper is divided into six chapters: The first chapter is to study the problems and literature review; second chapter is mathematical model overview; Chapter three is mathematical model instance; Chapter four is secondary school mathematics and mathematical modeling; Chapter five is mathematical modeling for secondary educational value; sixth chapter is the conclusion and reflection.
