Teacher's professional identity is an important concept of western teacher education research nearly 20 years, our teacher professional identity research is on the basis of study abroad. In our country, most researchers usually use teachers' professional identity or teachers' self-identity to characterize this concept. But no matter what concept, they are used to show teachers'inner professional sense,understanding and recognition which form in the long-term teaching education practice, And try to consistent with professional behaviors,objectives and aspirations, it is their actively construct process for achieving professional development in practice. Their research objects are usually teachers have been working, but seldom for College students in school.this study's object is tuition-free normal students, they are the future teachers. On the basis of early studies, this study mainly explore the connotation, characteristics and the influence factors, to try to enrich and develop the related theory of teachers'professional development, and to reveal the problems in the process of professional development, and come up with the corresponding solutions.The actuality of the tuition-free normal students is the key of this study, this study research 376 tuition-free normal students through self-designed questionnaire and interviews, using quantitative analysis and the qualitative research. Survey results adopted SPSS 17.0 for further statistical analysis. Surveys show that:overall, tuition-free normal students' professional identity situation presents good situation, but also exists some problems, mainly displays in:first, the consciousness of self professional construction is thin. Mainly reflects in career planning and management consciousness, critical reflection consciousness and self-surpass consciousness, etc. second, ego orientation and teachers' professional position is not clear. Their ego orientation is not clear, their understanding to teacher is not clear, choosing motivation is not pure, they are all influence their professional interests,preferences, as well as their professional development and growth and planning. Third, professional cognition and behavior exists no coordination. Their teachers' professional knowledge,skills and values is taller, but their behaviors is not active, namely, they understand their major significance in the current education, and can accept new thoughts and ideas well, but in works are not good for self reflection and development, lack of strong planning and management consciousness,critical reflection and self-surpass consciousness.In view of the above questions, this paper mainly come up with possible approaches and strategies from students themselves and education environment.1. To strengthen teachers' professional ideal faith education; 2. Do well the propaganda educational work of respecting teacher and education; 3.To strengthen the management and educational work, improve their consciousness of career planning and management.4. To improve and innovate the systems for training continually.
