The exploitation and utilization of track and field curriculum resource has drawnincreasing attention in the field of sports theory and practice, as an important basis andprerequisite for reaching the sports curriculum goals, the exploitation and utilization oftrack and field curriculum resource has increasingly become an consensus of the people.Article21of National College Physical Education Curriculum Teaching Guidelines issuedby the Ministry of Education in August2002has explicitly pointed out that according tolocal conditions to exploit and utilize various curriculum resources is an important way ofCurriculum Construction, this goes to show the importance of physical educationcurriculum resources.The research objects of this article is athletic teachers and students in physicaleducation major in seven undergraduate institutions in Gansu Province. The author usesliterature data, expert interview method, questionnaire, mathematical statistics and logicalanalysis, focus on six aspects of human resources, track and field venue facilities andequipment resources, track and field course content resources, athletic course contentresources, track and field natural and geographical resources, track and field informationresources, track and field time resources to research the current situation of thecountermeasure and exploitation utilization of track and field curriculum resource inphysical education major in undergraduate institutions in Gansu Province. The resultsshowed that:(1) Undergraduate institutions in Gansu Province has rich human resources ofthe Athletic course, teachers mainly in young and middle-aged. Athletic teachers gaps in theunderstanding of the curriculum resources, not taken the initiative to exploitation andutilization of track and field curriculum resource. Most of the Athletic teachers emphasis onthe indoctrination of the traditional Athletic sports, ignore the students as a main role ofcurriculum resource development. Other human resources development is underexploited.(2) The Athletic venue facilities and equipment in Undergraduate institutions in GansuProvince can basically meet the requirements of Track and Field Teaching. But theutilization rate of off-campus venues and facilities and equipment is very low. Resourcelimitations and wasting is very serious. The management of the Venues and equipment isvery Lagging.(3) The main of the Athletic teachers in classroom teaching is textbook, theprocessing of track and field textbooks is simple, the degree of development and utilization is low, the introduction intensity of new sports is not enough, rarely use folk, ethnic sportsin Gansu province, mainly on athletics teaching.(4) There are large differences in thechannels and the way to obtain the required Athletic and field knowledge betweenuniversity student and athletic teachers, the students did not take full advantage of modernmedia to get Athletic information, we need to guide students use the Internet and othermeans to obtain a large number of Athletic knowledge and information.(5) There are fewstudents take advantage of the extra-curricular time to participate in athletics, spare timehas not been fully exploited.View of the above problems, the author analysis the cause from five aspects thatawareness of teachers, teachers’ understanding of Athletic curriculum resources, knowledgestructure of teachers, school leaders attach importance to exploitation utilization of trackand field curriculum resource and education evaluation system. Made the followingcountermeasures:(1) Strengthen the Athletic education and training of teachers, fullymobilize students to participate in the development and utilization of curriculum resources,and effective use of other human resources of the school.(2) Play multiple roles of theexisting venues and equipment, rationally arrange the venues and equipment, increasecollege track and field facilities funding.(3) Multifaceted widen the Athletic theoreticalcourse content, strengthen the transform of the existing track and field events and introducefolk, ethnic sports in Gansu province.(4) Schools should make full use of all availableeducational resources, make athletic lesson go out of school sports venues, oriented nature.(5) Make full use of a variety of media to get the Athletic information, continue to enrichand update the Athletic course content.(6) Fully excavate the limited time resources toguide students to make use of extracurricular time to exercise. |
