Generally speaking, job satisfaction is not a unitary concept, instead, it is amulti-faceted one. It is not only used to measure the self-perception of the employmentstatus of the graduates but also to measure the quality of employment of thepostgraduates. As a result, it can reflect the quality of education of universities andself-perception of graduates.Then author states the necessity of this research, which provides meaningful points forthe reform of the postgraduate education and the national universities. For the aspect ofresearch feasibility, this one have profound theoretical basis as well as strong timesrequirements. Under the innovation of science and technology, this research on theemployment satisfaction of postgraduates is feasible.After that, this paper introduces the domestic and foreign research achievement of therelevant theory, which mainly focus on the basic theory of job satisfaction. Based onthis, author makes a survey on the job status and job satisfaction of the postgraduateswho entered in2009and2010separately by questionnaire and interviewing methods. Inthe following time, the paper makes a comparison of the two series of data and analysesthe influential factors separately, and finds the differences in job satisfaction have someconnection in whether they are at work or not. Then we can make a conclusion of thefactors which influence the job satisfaction of postgraduates.
