Nowadays the teacher reform is used as an important work to improve the quality of teacher with many countries in the world. In order to improve teacher quality countries started to take measures to promote the professional development of teachers. Chinese’s teachers need to improve Professional skills for the new curriculum, Chinese’s teachers urgently demand theoretical guidance and professional standards. However, professional development of Chinese’s teacher had not been started in China. In2004, the domestic academia Realized the importance and urgency of the professional development of Chinese’s teachers, to study Chinese’s teachers and professional development has become popular. But the professional standards of teachers is still under development, in the case of the absence of professional standards, how to develop their professional skills to become a qualified teacher is a big question. The new curriculum reform promote the professional development of language teachers, but by the reality of the obstacles, language teachers encounter new puzzles. It’s an new research for how to transfer the new concept for the actual teaching practice acts and how to improve the professional level. This study adopts three research methods, Analysis the literature and case of existing problems of school language teachers. I Discussed from three aspects of the structure of professional knowledge, professional competence, professionalism, and give some advice for professional development for language teachers. This paper consists of six parts.Introduction:this section illustrates the background to the study, research significance, research review, research ideas and research methods. introducing the development status of language teachers and the object of study.Chapter1illustrates the core concepts, describing the view of knowledge, wisdom concept, the concept of education. Elaborate the course of development of them. Introduce Contemporary view of knowledge, wisdom concept, concept of education.Chapter2illustrates the Interview of primary and secondary school language teachers, Extract the sample in the typical case, by case analysis, based on reality, to research the problems of the language teachers’ professional development.Chapter3illustrates the direction of the professional development of language teachers, Professional knowledge is the basis to the professional development of language teachers, professional competence is the key to the professional development, the power is professional-quality. According to the empirical research, I proposed to construct the ways of structure of professional knowledge, professional competence and professional quality. In Professional knowledge, we should establish a comprehensive professional knowledge structure concept to promote the coordinated development of the language professional knowledge and teaching knowledge. In professional competence, language teaching knowledge Transformed into professional competence. In professional quality, we should manage emotions and enhance critical consciousness.Chapter4put forward the means of professional development for language teachers. Excellent language teachers and trainee instructor are the example to new teacher. In addition,New teacher can learn from the students. Pre-employment training focus on theoretical learning, schools should strengthen their theoretical knowledge training of teachers, strengthen the teachers’ personal theoretical knowledge in a practical experiment. Vocational training focus on participating in the Teaching competition and paying attention to the read language education journals, learning teaching reflection and education narrative to enhance the wisdom of teaching practice in the collective learning.Chapter5:the conclusions and recommendations of the study. this section illustrates the study’s conclusions, recommendations and the lack of research.
