Aerobics, which combines fitness, mental cultivation and body-building,is amulti-functional sport that is worth engaging in.Since its emergence in China in the1980s, it became a popular sport among the young people in universities.With itscolorful contents, aerobics develops rapidly. The pedagogic method of solely focusingon technique-learning does not meet the requirement of training sports teachers in thisstage。Focusing on the teaching features of aerobics, this thesis discusses the feasibilityof the cooperative teaching mode and its influences on students basic techniques, theabilities of analyzing and solving problems, teaching and handling social relationshipsthrough the methods of documents and literature, experimental teaching andquestionnaire survey, etc. The experimental result indicates that the cooperativeteaching mode can fully stimulate the students’ enthusiasm of learning and greatly boosttheir abilities of organizing, expressing, managing, cooperating and socializing. Thestudent-oriented show competitions, observation learning and the after-class summaryhave fully cultivated the students’ abilities of demonstrating, evaluating and self-evaluating, enduring obstacles and self-education, and strengthened their sense ofcompetition and collective pride.
