Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture,Sichuan, is China’s largest Yighetto. Due to the traffic inconveniences, economic poverty and the relative lack ofeducational resources, the overall level of education here is relatively backward. Inorder to let more people know, concern and develop the Yi minority’s mathematicseducation, and promote the balanced development of education, this paper mainlyselects the YueXi high school students of Liangshan, Sichuan province, as theobject of study to know about students’ mathematics learning situation and doresearches according to the students’ life experience.This paper is divided into three chapters. The first chapter introduces the reasonsfor the topic selected, the purpose and significance of the cultural background andthe subject study, and states the current situation of the secondary schoolmathematics education as well as the literature review of the Yi areas. The secondchapter understands the Yi area high school students ’math learning situation andanalyzes the characteristics of student learning as well as the mathematics teachers’teaching effectiveness through questionnaires, student interviews and case studies,The third chapter puts forward some personal teaching suggestions in view of theabove research, such as the hierarchical training and independent proposition. |
