The Capability of educational technology of normal students is one of themost important Capabilities on the professional development of teachers in New Period.It is the need of education reform and informationization teaching ability,which is alsoan important method of promoting the improvement of teaching quality and the overalldevelopment of students.It plays an increasingly important role of the development of normal students’educational technology capability to western teachers’ sustainable development, whichis an important guarantee of western regions to improving quality of education. In viewof the East-West imbalance in regional economic development, western normal collegesand universities have very big differences in educational investment、teachers、educational software and hardware conditions, and so on to eastern regions in trainingeducational technology,How to shorten the development gap of the normal students’ educationalcapabilities between the two areas in objective conditions in order to promote theprofessional growth of teachers and normal students’ development on educationaltechnology capability in western areas? We consider that it should be based on practicalconditions and normal students’ future work requirement in the development of normalstudents western areas.This thesis’s writing is as follows. Firstly, we worked out questionnairesaccording to the “Standard of Primary and Secondary School Teachers’ EducationalTechnology Capability”, acquiring the first-hand material through the method ofinvestigation and reading literatures and interview. And then based on the analysis of thedate collected, we summarized the present situation of the educational technologycapabilities of western area normal students. Thirdly, we further analysis causes due tothe present situation of the educational technology capabilities of western area normalstudents and analyze emphatically the problems of the training system in normalstudents’ educational technology western areas. Finally, we proposed our measures ofimproving the training system in normal students’ educational technology western areas and practiced our ideas through teaching practice.Practice shows that at present the existing teaching mode reform is a feasiblemeasure to western normal students’ educational technology capability development. Atthe end of this thesis, we put forward the plan of later research.
