Social adaptability problem is major problem, which is the junior middle school students facing up, It became an important topic in the research of educational circles.At this stage, junior middle school students facing many social adaptability problems, if handled well, children will be able to complete the transition to adulthood smoothly; if handled improperly, it may cause difficulties in their social interaction, education, and social adaptability, seriously it will stifle their talents, so that they don’t have healthy development of personality, which affecting their social adaptability. Extraordinary intelligence students in junior middle school are the main cultivation object in future of top-notch innovative talents, they are the great wealth of nations. In this paper, extraordinary intelligence students are point to IQ above130, substantially more than their peers of the development level of normal students; Social adaptability is conducive to adapt to social’s psychological characteristics of personality and psychological inclination of personality, etc. On the basis of the existing research we can find that there is not much study about extraordinary students’social adaptability at home and abroad, and there were no clear definition of the concept, research methods with qualitative and quantitative are not unified at home, etc. This research aims to explore the social adaptability characters of extraordinary intelligence students in junior middle school, In order to prevent students appearing the poor social adaptability and puts forward educational suggestions.This research using the combined research methods of questionnaire survey and interview survey, and using "middle school students’social adaptability scale" is to study the social adaptability characters of109extraordinary intelligence students in junior.middle school.The research reached the following conclusions:First, extraordinary intelligent students in junior middle school with good social adaptability, significantly better than normal intelligence students; Second,extraordinary intelligent students in junior middle school’s social adaptability have no significant main effect on gender,At the psychological sense of superiority, the boys better than girls; At interpersonal adaptability girls do better than boys. Third, the different grade of extraordinary intelligence in junior middle school students, their social adaptability with higher grades and showed a decreasing trend, and there is a significant difference on grade.Based on the conclusions, we made educational suggestions. First, make individual education for extraordinary intelligence students in junior middle school; Second, pay attention to the grade difference of social adaptability about extraordinary intelligence students in junior middle school of; Third, pay attention to the gender difference of social adaptability about extraordinary intelligence students in junior middle school; Fourth, to build a good development environment for extraordinary intelligence students in junior middle school; and Fifth, develop the good peer relationships.
