With teachers playing an important role in the process of school developmentand success or failure of the education reform, researching on teacher professionallearning community increasingly highlights its necessity. Primary and secondaryschool teacher studio in Guangdong province belongs to interscholastic teacherprofessional learning community. Therefore, it possesses special meaning forteachers’ professional development. In this context, this research selects theoperation of primary and secondary school teacher studio in Guangdong province as abreakthrough point.It summarizes experience of the operation of primary andsecondary school teacher studio in Guangdong province,studies main issues andanalyzes the reason and advances some suggestions based on these, providingbeneficial reference and enlightenment to the improvement of the operation ofprimary and secondary school teacher studio in Guangdong province.This study mainly adopts literature method combined with a questionnairesurvey.The first chapter elaborated the selected topic reason, the research purpose,significance, content and method, and defines the core concepts.The second chaptercards domestic and foreign existing related research literature analysis and inductionto lay a solid foundation to the research in this paper The third chapteranalysis processes, main activity, characteristics, main security factors and the valueof the operation of primary and secondary school teacher studio in Guangdongprovince.The fourth chapter depicts the operation of primary and secondary schoolteacher studio in Guangdong province to know the situation of the operation ofprimary and secondary school teacher studio in Guangdong province on the overalllevel and know the Impact of these factors that fshlage, title, education background,discipline and region to teacher studio. In addition, the chapter selects each teacherstudio of the Pearl River Delta region, North Guangdong, Eastern Guangdong, Western Guangdong for the case study to inspect the situation, successful experience andproblems of the operation of primary and secondary school teacher studio inGuangdong province.The study reveals the main problems that lie in the operation of primary andsecondary school teacher studio in Guangdong province as that: teacher studio’ hosts,trainees are faced with the great pressure and difficulties; funds inadequacy and notwell-placed can’t guarantee teacher studio run efficiently; lacking of effectivesupervision to"trinity" model; the quantity of trainees is overabundance and disciplinestructure is not reasonable. These issues are attributed to the policy is insufficientclear and implement not well-placed; the school support is not enough; lacking ofcorresponding supervision mechanism to "trinity” model; selecting trainees is lessstrict. On this basis, this study puts forward some suggestions to improve theoperation of primary and secondary school teacher studio in Guangdong province,mainly includes: providing a good external environment; perfecting the supervisionmechanism of "trinity" model accordingly; controlling the selection of backboneteachers strictly.
