Culture is power. As a symbol of human existence, culture constrainshuman behavior to a large extent and has a great impact on human development.Although we can not see and feel it, the influence is subtle, profound and everlasting.A class is the basic unit of school organization, the first parasocial group thatstudents get to know. It is the cultural carrier in students’ life and study. Jaspers believesthat the essence of education is cultivation. Students have learned more from the classenvironment than from books. Class culture, as a particular cultural environment, playsan important role in students’ growth and success, which makes it necessary to createsuch an environment in terms of promoting students’ all-round developmentThe normal re-take class, as a special class, is characteristic of its particularmembers, short-time formation and specific goals, which seemingly outweigh theimportance of class culture construction. However, it has been proved that even in sucha class the construction of class culture is a must for promoting students’ all-rounddevelopment as well as achieving better education results.Currently, in China,the research about class culture is still at the beginning stagewhere there is neither well-established theory nor successful pattern for actual operation.Hence, the purpose of my research lies in providing students of this level with bettermanagement and education to promote their all-round development in a subtle way.Furthermore, it is hoped that this research can help make up for the theory blank in thisfield as well as push forward the culture construction of our school as a whole. In anattempt to fully reveal the contents of culture construction for a re-take class,systematically elaborate its effects on students and provide possible strategies toeducators, this essay consists of five parts:Part I Introduction. It mainly deals with the causes, current status purpose andsignificance of the research.Part II Outlines of class culture and re-take class. It deals with the definition of theresearch target as well as some core concepts like class culture, the construction of class culture and re-take class; It also deals with the functions of class culture, the theoreticalbasis for research and the essential elements associated with class cultural strategies.Part III The present situation and issues presented in class culture construction. Itmainly analyzes the problems arising in the construction of class culture.Part IV The practical research of construction strategies of class culture. It dealswith the essence and core of the construction of class culture in a re-take class as well asthe status of teachers and students in the construction of class culture. Special attentionis paid to the analysis of the strategies for the class culture construction and somepossible recommendations are made. This part is the focus of this essay.Part V Conclusion: It focuses on the research results, the research methods of theconstruction of class culture and draws the conclusion.
