The English curriculum standards of the senior high school have been promulgated andimplemented, which caused a series of reforms in the classroom management in English of thesenior high school. According to the literature analysis, questionnaire investigation, teacherinterviews and classroom observation, taking Sichuan Wanyuan, Middle School for example, theauthor discussed the current situations, problems and the causes of the classroom management inEnglish of the senior high school in the study.This article consists of five parts.Part I, An introduction: This section described the background, the purpose and significance ofthe study, including the overview at home and abroad on the research. It also described the definitionof the concept, the ideas and methods of the research.Part Ⅱ, An investigation: To obtain the classroom management problems of the Wanyuansenior school. The author researched on the current situation of Sichuan Wanyuan middle school bythe student’s questionnaires, the interviewing to the teachers and the lectures occurring in theclassroom.Part Ⅲ, Summary the problems: The author made a summary about the problems. Such as:many teachers are not clear about the concept of English classroom management; teachers andstudents are not clear about the position in the English class; classroom management elements is notmastered; the classroom evaluation is not affordable to the English in senior high school, and so on.Part IV, Analysis of the reasons: the author analyses the causes of the problems about theEnglish classroom management in Sichuan wanyuan senior high school. They are: The majority ofteachers have no awareness of English classroom management‘s problems; Teachers are notconcerned about the performance of the management of the high school English classroom; Theclassroom evaluation is not fit for the subject characteristics and academic level stage.Part V, Proposing solutions: under the guidance of the theories of Social Psychology, Education,Management, the author put forward the countermeasures to the problems of the English classroommanagement in senior high school. They are: Strengthen the awareness about the problems ofclassroom management issues; The teachers and students should promote the classroom performance;concern the characteristics of English, leading the classroom management of high school English todevelop further.
