The relation between employment stress and career maturity of the college students is always the key issue of university study in recent years. While career delay of gratification is a new concept which is introduced into the career field of college just now, and its study comes to the first stage. The relation of all of the three concepts have not been studied until now. The purpose of this study is to dicuss the relation of employment stress、career maturity and career delay of gratification by empirical research, for providing the collage employment servers and deciders with the valuable reference.On the bacis of restrospect of past concerned reference, this study presents the research hypothesis. The830subjects of this study are from the five unversities in Wuhan city. And use the questionaire survey, like "the College Students’Employment Stress Inventory"(Chen Yu Hong、Jiang Guang Rong,2005)."the Chinese College Students’Career Maturity Inventory"(Liu Li Min,2009)."the Career Delay of Gratification Inventory"(Liu Xiao Yan,2009), use SPSS to do data analysis of those inventories, and get the research conclusions as following:The level of college students’employment stress is very high, and their career maturity is in the middle level. The college students’employment stress、career maturity and career delay of gratification have significant difference on the Population characteristics variables, such as gender、grade、major、place of residence and so on. There is significant difference in the relation of the college students’employment stress. career maturity and career delay of gratification. The college students’career maturity plays a role as intermediation between their employment stress and career delay of gratification.
