Study On Compulsory Education Problem And Countermeasures Of Migrant Workers’ Children

With the development of Chinese economic and the rapid growth process of urbanization, A large number of rural laborers come into cities and economically developed areas, many children of migrant workers follow their parents to come to cities. So the compulsory education problem of migrant workers’children have become serious day by day. Wenling City as the more developed coastal,For the implementation of compulsory education of migrant workers’children "the two" policy, some government departments of Wenling City have made great efforts, Tuition and fees and expenditures for textbooks are waived for children of migrant workers,encourage nongovernmental sectors to run schools. On policy for private schools was also tilted, basically solved the problem of migrant workers’children to go to school, but other new issues are endless.How to make the children of migrant workers really integrated into the city and enjoy the high-quality education resources to realize the education fairness? The essay based on the case of Wenling No.9Middle School, by using documentary method and investigative method as well as archival method and other methods,it analyzes and studies the existing compulsory education of migrant workers’children in Wenling City from the four aspects:education system, school education, family education, and social education. The essay uncovers the problems and causes of the children of migrant workers compulsory education. Furthermore, the essay proposes the suggestions and countermeasures how to solve the problems of the compulsory education of migrant workers’children.My essay is divided into five parts to explain what have been mentioned above:The first part is an introduction, in which studied topic is definited and purpose and meaning of research are clarified.
