English teaching stick to life at primary school has been the vital faith of new basic education curriculum reform in the need of modern education ideas and quality education. For the situation and problems of English teaching isolated from realities shown at suburb primary schools, this dissertation, based on the theories of Life Education raised by Tao Xing Zhi and Constructivism Studying by J. S. Bruner, systematically discusses the connotations, features, meanings and implement strategies of primary school English teaching at suburbs closely linked with daily life through documentations、 investigations and case analysis. It’s hopeful to make a progress for English teaching into daily life and to have a try to improve the life education teaching theories.There are four parts in total. The first part is the Introduction, generally introducing the basis of the topic, research meanings, domestic and foreign findings as well as research methods. The second one makes a systematic discussion of the topic’s connotation, features and meanings based on the theories of Life Education. The Third one reviews the situation on English teaching into daily life through a survey for English teachers from30primary schools of10villages and towns at ChangSha County. As shown in the survey, it has a poor performance with English teaching into real life from different perspectives of teaching contents, teaching methods, teaching tools, teaching assessment ways and activities. Furthermore, this paper will analyze the reasons why English teaching at primary schools in suburbs, is not sticked to the real life enough from the following aspects as the unreasonable teaching assessment system, the old-fashioned teaching ideas, the monotonous teaching method, the lack of research and development of curriculum resources, the distribution inequality of teachers as well as the shortage of teaching facilities and teachers’training. And, the forth part explores the ways to implement the teaching idea we mainly discussed above from various angles of management and teaching. For the former one, we should attach more importance to the curriculum and its research, give more financial input on suburbs’ education, improve teaching stuff and reform the assessment system;for the latter one, we should connect closely daily life to teaching contents, teaching methods, teaching activities, after-class assignments,teaching surroundings as well as teaching assessment...
