If the teaching Chinese oversea has become the main battlefield of Chinese languageteaching, then you can say that teaching Chinese language for high school students (especially injunior high school) is the main battlefield in Thailand. Teaching Chinese in Thailand faces acommon problem, that is because of objective and subjective reasons, Chinese volunteer teachersoften showed great arbitrariness in the teaching process, vary or grasp their own business interms of teaching design, teaching content, teaching methods, lack of a necessary and scientificguidance in the instructional design method and language learning as well as teaching theory.This article focuses on the instructional design issues about teaching Chinese for juniorstudents in Thailand, which need the guidance of the principles of language learning andteaching theory. Based on the principles of language teaching and instructional design, thisarticle tries to provide an instructional design on the specific Chinese primary comprehensivecourse "How much is a kilo of mango?" Through conducting preliminary analysis ofinstructional design, planning and implementation of the mid-late, the author presents a completeprocess in the actual teaching case of the junior high school in Thailand, designed to preparethose teachers who lack of experience in teaching Chinese in Thailand and to provide guidanceand examples on how to effectively design class and improve teaching efficiency.This paper consists of five parts:The first chapter introduces the preparation of this thesis research, including researchbackground and significance, the specific research objectives, research content and researchmethods. Besides, this part also does a certain amount of literature sorting work on the principlesof teaching and learning Chinese as a second language and instructional design theory.The second chapter analyzes the environment and situation of teaching Chinese in Thai Udonpichairakpittaya School (hereinafter referred to as "UPR" middle school) as well ascharacteristics of students in age, motivation, learning level, learning style and other aspects.The third chapter focuses on the lesson "how much is a kilo of mango? and discusses thethinking of its instructional design, which includes teaching target, teaching content and teachingstrategies. In the design of teaching strategies, it respectively analyses the principles of thisteaching design, the teaching process and classroom teaching organizationThe fourth chapter describes the implementation process of the Chinese primarycomprehensive lesson "How much is a kilogram of mangoes?", and makes an evaluation on bothsides of the learning result and teaching behaviors.The fifth chapter gives an objective summarize of the results and shortcomings of this studybased on the feedback from teaching.
