If overseas Chinese schools are compared to the main battlefield of overseas Chinese education,then overseas Chinese teaching materials are the most widely used weapons on this battlefield,and the classroom teaching design of Chinese teachers is how to make good use of Chinese teaching materials,the most conventional weapon,and how to win the battle of Chinese education strategies and tactics.Comprehensive course undertakes a variety of skills training tasks in Chinese teaching.Based on the research of similar comprehensive courses,combined with the author's teaching practice in Jubilee Christian Academy of the Philippines,and guided by the constructivist learning theory,this paper tries to solve some problems in Jubilee Christian Academy's elementary comprehensive Chinese course.Jubilee Christian Academy the author works at is a Chinese school,which was founded in 1967.At present,the overseas Chinese textbooks used in Jubilee Christian Academy are "Easy Steps to Chinese" series.The fourth volume of " Easy Steps to Chinese " is used in the first grade of junior middle school,which is taught by the author.The author's curriculum design has made specific instructional design around " Easy Steps to Chinese " book 4,Lesson 4,"Daily Routine",and has summarized the advantages of the instructional design after the implementation of the instructional design,and found out the advantages of the instructional design and areas for improvement.Hopefully that helps the teaching of the comprehensive primary Chinese course in Jubilee Christian Academy.
