With the development of time, the connection between education and social aspects is getting inseparably associated. As an important part of life in modern society, popular culture has an increasingly important influence on teenagers, especially on campus, where pop culture is quite common. Some popular culture, such as film and television, popular music, popular novels on the Internet, the Internet, etc, have played an important role in teenagers’ life and have an effect on school education. As a useful supplement, Chinese school-based curriculum can develop and utilize all kinds of curriculum resources and carry out various kinds of language learning activities creatively to improve the students’ ability of Chinese learning and Chinese accomplishment in different aspects. Through combining popular culture with the school-based curriculum, the author tries to construct school-based curriculum which mainly teach popular culture. This curriculum can not only incorporate the content which students are interested in into Chinese learning, but also handle the relationship between popular culture and school education. In that case, students have an objective understanding of popular culture under the guidance of the teacher and consciously abandon the dregs of popular culture, so that they can absorb its essence, constantly improve their Chinese accomplishment and gradually develop into a higher aesthetic taste.This thesis is based on the theory of life education, humanistic curriculum theory and postmodern curriculum theory. Through two questionnaires and data analysis, this thesis discusses the reality basis of constructing the school-based curriculum about popular culture, and illustrates its practical value. As to the content of the school-based curriculum about popular culture, the thesis is based on relevance, entertainment, complimentarity and helpfulness, and consults middle school Chinese textbooks, so the author mainly chooses popular novels on the internet, popular music, films and television, micro-blog and advertisement as the content of the school-based curriculum.The process of constructing the school-based curriculum about popular culture includes the aim, implementation framework and the evaluation. The goal of the school-based curriculum about popular culture depends on knowledge and skills, process and methods and emotional attitude values. The implementation of the curriculum is illustrated in the form of special topic respectively and the author makes brief teaching design for each topic. The evaluation of the curriculum observes certain evaluation principles, and respectively evaluates the students and teachers, which can be presented in forms.Chinese curriculum standards of compulsory education issued in2011by the Ministry of Education pointed out that "language teachers should attach great importance to the development and utilization of curriculum resources, a creative way to carry out various activities to enhance students ’language learning in a variety of occasions to improve students’ language literacy, awareness of language, through a variety of ways." Based on this requirement, the thesis reckons for the actual situation of students and society and tries to build a school-based curriculum about popular culture, which is a good try to make Chinese class full of vigor in hope of leading students to pay more attention to society and life and helping them improve their Chinese accomplishment.
