The topic of this thesis is "The Comment on Popular Culture in the Chinese school-based course' (taking C middle school as a case). The whole thesis can be divided into five chapters. Mainly Elaborate the Popular culture that has an effect on theories research, practical investigation and thinking.Chapter 1. Explain the concept of the some important words. Just like 'Popular culture', 'Chinese school-based course' and so on.Chapter 2. 'Put forward the problem.' The popular culture has already become the recessive course of Chinese. When the Chinese teaching focuses on the classic culture, it should also increase the concern about the popular culture at the same time. It should let popular culture become the important resources of Chinese course. It is hard for students to analyze the popular culture. They need the correct instruction. Chinese subject can do part of this job. So it is necessary of popular culture to join the Chinese course. The new course standard said that "The school-based course must satisfy the students' interests. And ask to give the enough space to develop the popular culture.' At the present, the best form to teach the popular culture is school-based course.Chapter 3. 'The overview of cultural heritage'. In this chapter, separately introduce and evaluate the developing situation of the popular culture course in UK, America, Hong Kong, Taiwan and the mainland in China. Some professors think that popular culture should have the same steps with the school education. The revolution of course make popular culture becomes the important factor in the new course teaching system. At the same time, teaching material has added up the content of the popular culture. A lot of Chinese teachers approve of letting Jinyong's swordsman fiction be put into the Chinese Book of the Middle School. These teachers also appeal to don't make the popular culture and traditional Chinese course as the enemy. In this way, we can get some resources for our research.Chapter 4. 'Present the case of popular culture in Chinese school-based course in Changzhou C middle school.' First of all, analyze the background of the development of this course. Then state the methods and procedures of the development of this course. How to develop the course? The first step is to make a plan and decide the aims and content of the course according to the real situation. The second step is to organize and put into practice. In this step, first thing should.be done is to assess need, organize the groups, bring into effect, assess the behavior of the students and revise the teaching material. Concrete evaluation of the course has the principle of the evaluation, multiplex body, opening content, diverse of the methods. Finally, use the grade as the judgment of the result.Chapter 5. 'Introduce the achievements and the problems in the development of this course. The achievement is that the course encourages the students developing their abilities, discovering the existent form of popular culture in the Chinese course, discovering the redaction form of the school-based material. And the teachers also gain the experience of developing the school-based course. However, in this process, there are some problems. Lack the guidance and the training of the professors, the effective organization of school, the cooperation of teachers, perfect result.At the end of this thesis, writer shows the confidence of the future of the school-based course about the popular culture.
