| Owing to historical and realistic reasons, the education circle has not paidenough attention to the professional ethics education of college students and thereexist some problems to be explored and addressed urgently both in practice andtheory. For instance, the professional ethics education of college studentsimplemented in institutes of higher education is still quite simple in methods andbackward in approaches. Hence, the initiative to research new issues, seek newthoughts, pioneer new approaches emerges as a key role in promoting such aneducation to be functional and adaptable to the demands of the times. The approachto carry out professional ethics education of college students serves as the channel todefine the contents and realize the objective of professional ethics education ininstitutes of higher education.The paper can be divided into five parts. In Part One, the significance andrealistic basis of the study are introduced. In recent years, China has already enlargedits input in professional ethics education and taken it as an important position tooutput workforces. Therefore, it is of great significance to conduct professionalethics education in institutes of higher education. In Part Two, professional ethicseducation and its approaches are defined and the relationship between them isclarified based on a large amount of literature research work. Professional ethicseducation defined in this paper refers to the general term of the methods andapproaches adopted to implement and define professional ethic education. It must beclosely related to the approaches of professional ethics education. In Part Three, thecurrent situation of college students’ professional ethics education is introduced viaquestionnaires and interviews. Considering that the professional ethics education inChina is not profound and there are still many problems, it is necessary and urgent toconduct researches in this regard. In Part Four, a comparison between the foreigncountries and China regarding the approaches to implement professional ethicseducation is made. In Part Five, fresh approaches able to meet college students’ demands are proposed based on the current situation of professional ethics educationin China and the advanced experience of foreign countries.In order to arouse wide attention among the education circle and promote thedevelopment of professional ethics education, the paper attempts to analyze previouseducation approaches and adopts questionnaires and interviews to spot the problemsfacing professional ethics education of college students in China, aiming to explorefresh approaches that conform to China’s current situation and students’ demands.Therefore, the paper is of significant value in that it provides references andenlightenments for the implementation and improvement of China’s professionalethics education. |
