| Practice system is an important part of Chinese teaching material, it is a key approach for teachers to test and give the teaching feedback, Learning the system can improve students’ ability a lot. Whether the practice system of high school Chinese compulsory teaching material really plays the role or improves students’ability, it is worth all the Chinese educational scholars’ concern. We take the language proficiency levels for college entrance examination as the classification of statistical tools, take the practice system in reading part of the ancient poetry as the object. Compare the PEP and Jiangsu Edition, then study the relevance between them and the corresponding examination papers, in order to observe the practice system in turns. In the comparison, we found that they can improve students’abilities to a certain extent. Include memorization, understanding, analysis, comprehensive, appreciation and evaluation, expression applications. However, they also have disconnection in some degree. All these need the compilers, the users’ attention and improvement. Textbook compilers should adjust the proportion of all ability levels, make clear training objectives. The users must pay attention to exercise system and practice it; at the same time, dealing with the relationship between teaching goal and ability level is also important. This article mainly discusses from the following five parts:The first part is the introduction. It mainly introduces the research purpose, the research review, research methods and ideas.The second part mainly discusses the Proficiency levels and its main theoretical source, This part is divided into two sections. The first section mainly introduces the raise and the development of Proficiency levels, especially introduces the specific classification and the meaning of Proficiency levels. The second section introduces the main theory sources of Proficiency levels, one of them is the education goal of bloom taxonomy, the other is the ordinary high school language curriculum standard (experiment).The third part mainly compare and summarize the distribution while the ancient poetry exercises system related with Proficiency levels. The fourth part combine the ancient poetry reading in the college entrance examination and textbook, and then compare PEP with Jiangsu Edition.The fifth part is based on the front comparative study to reflect on textbook compilation, and put forward reasonable suggestions from the textbook compilation and use. |
