Classical Chinese poetry teaching is one of the key parts of Chinese teaching. It is helpful for students to accumulate and enrich their knowledge of classical culture. Meanwhile, students can inherit the wonderful tradition of Chinese people. It also has irreplaceable place in fostering innovative talents. However, there exits a dead corner in the teaching reformation of high school classical poems which is neglected by the majorities. Ministry of Education has presented the Chinese Curriculum Standard which pointed out Chinese learning has special characters such as emotion perception. Then perception teaching sprung up from that environment which not only represent of the spirit of the new standard but also provide the opportunity of reformation for high school poem teaching. This research starts from the reality and make clear distinctions between perception concept and perception teaching concept. We illustrate the possibilities of implementing the perception teaching to bring the vigor to Chinese teaching and to make a better class.This paper could be divided into four parts.First, we research on the perception and perception teaching. We analyze the history of perception and perception teaching in order to show the prerequisite of implementation perception teaching.Second, we research on the importance of implementing perception teaching of high school classical teachings. We connect the theory to the practical of perception teaching to illustrate the possibilities and necessary of it. Several shortcomings are pointed out such as teacher’s dominant place, utilitarianism of teaching objectives.Third, we research on how to implement the perception teaching of high school classical Chinese poetry. In this part we try to build the strategy of perception teaching, from the concept of the perception teaching, teaching methodologies, teaching progress, teaching evaluations. First, we build the teaching concert such as’Student’s understanding’and ’teacher’s’enlightenment’to realize’self-understanding’. Second, we adopt various teaching methods to explicit their implicit understanding. Third, we must make perceptions to be the center of teaching progress. Fourth, we must implement’focusing on life’teaching evaluation process. We make the students’development to be our final end. In a nutshell, we provide an overall solution to the perception teaching of Chinese classical poetry.Fourth, we analyze common problems and solutions of perception teaching of Chinese poetry. This part severs as a supplement for the thesis. We also provide the solutions to the problems.
