The seventeenth session of the six plenary session of the Communist Party ofChinese examined and adopted the "CPC Central Committee on deepening the reform of the cultural management system, promote socialist cultural development and prosperity in certain major issue decision", the resolution is the biggest bright spot has proposed the construction of "cultural power" long-term strategic. Five thousand years of Chinese ancient history gave birth tothe China broad and profound national culture, as a part of humanities music art, is one of the important carrier of the culture. Our national music artcarrying our rich history and culture, it reflects the Chinese ethnic folk customs, reflects Chinese people’s production and life, so Chinese folk musicis an important part of the culture of the Chinese nation. The Ministry of education in the "compulsory education music course standard" explicitly proposed the "national music" concept, and in basic education from an early age to develop national musical aesthetic ability of students, to cultivate students’ interest in folk music, and promote their love for the nation, country. I follow the teacher research in several primary school in Hunan Province, most of the current students prefer pop music discovery, their cognition, of national musical aesthetic ability is not optimistic, and the difference in the national music education on the issue of different schools, different teachers have verybig, can not very well put put forward by the Ministry of education "nationalmusic" concept in teaching courses. This is the reason of this study.This paper consists of four chapters:The first chapter, introduction. In this problem, the article research background, research value, research value, the current research at home and abroad and research methods.The second chapter, the meaning and content of Chinese national music. This chapter is divided into two parts, the first part mainly from the traditional culture of our country level analysis of the real kernel folk music embodies a concentrated reflection of Chinese culture; the second part from the cultivation of a sense of national identity, enhance national self-confidence and to develop national musical aesthetic view, carry forward the national musicculture, the necessity of national music education of primary school pupilsargument.The third chapter, investigation and analysis of the situation of national music teaching in primary school. This chapter can be divided into two parts, the firstpart is the questionnaire survey and interviews of two students and teachers to do data collection, summary; second part is to find the existing problems andreasons of national music education from the school, the family and the social three aspects.The fourth chapter, strategy research. This chapter is mainly based onquestionnaire survey results of the third chapter, combined with the theoretical basis of the first two chapters, the research. First, we should improve theunderstanding of the value of national music course, the real "national music"as each educator, the national music related content as an important part of basic music curriculum; secondly, to improve the teaching method, two aspects of creative teaching students interest in learning; thirdly, through optimizationhigher normal curriculum and strengthen teacher training to cultivate qualifiedmusic teachers; at the same time, want to set out from the school, family and society, creating a good environment of national music; finally, to develop national music school based curriculum and correctly handle the popular music and folk music. This article mainly from the following aspects, put forward someteaching suggestions.
