In the situation of new curriculum reform was gradually develop, the role ofmathematical culture in basic education is becoming more and more attention. Understandingof mathematical culture itself, grasp and how to penetrate it in the elementary school areclosely related to mathematics teaching quality of the elementary school in the newcurriculum reform circumstance. Based on the questionnaire of a primary school in Jinzhoucity, this paper discusses the problem of mathematical culture in the education of elementaryschool and analyzes the causes of these problems and puts forward the response of theoreticalvalue and realistic significance.This thesis is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction. Defining the concept ofmathematical culture and explain the features and value of mathematical culture, and thetheory basis.The third part is the present investigation of mathematics culture in an elementary schoolof Jinzhou city. First, introduces the object and method of this investigation. Second,introduces the content of the questionnaire and the design idea of investigation. Third,summarizes the survey results.The fourth part is the analysis of the lack of mathematical culture. Through investigationand study, found causes. The reasons are as follows: the teachers do not take attention to themathematical culture; mathematical culture in the classroom teaching was quoted rarely; theevaluation on the function of mathematics culture is not strong.The fifth part mainly elaborates the strategies of mathematical culture penetrating inmathematics teaching of the elementary school. From three aspects include teachers, teachingprocess and teaching evaluation to improve the culture infiltration in mathematics teaching ofthe elementary school, make the mathematics culture closely linked with the teachers, teaching and teaching evaluation and gradually establish a virtuous circle system and improvethe quality of mathematics teaching.
