In April,2011, Hu Jintao, President pointed out that the university should actively promote collaborative innovation with scientific research institutes, enterprises, government agencies, international communication and cooperation by building the depth cooperation, establishing strategic alliance of collaboration innovation and promoting the sharing of resources for improving the quality of High Education and talent training from the view of the strategy of building innovational country on the centennial anniversary of Tsinghua University. In addition, in February,2014, Xi Jinping, the General Secretary, pointed out that the development of inter-regional collaboration should base on their comparative advantages and cooperation and the concept of win-win, take the planning and utilization of elements of resources as the main so that achieve complementary advantages, positive interaction and win-win development. It must have a large number of high-level talents with innovation ability and collaborative awareness to build an innovational oriented country, improve the quality of higher education and enhance the comprehensive national strength. With the expansion of postgraduate education gradually, postgraduates is an important part for science research innovation in universities; therefore, their innovation ability partly have an effect on not only the knowledge of universities, the level of scientific research, but also the future development of a country’s overall innovation ability. This paper attempts to learn about the status of the synergy competency of scientific research of postgraduates and find the problem and solve it by the investigation under the background of collaborative innovation from the postgraduates’ themselves view; This is a paper on the subject of the full-time academic postgraduates, the scientific research synergy capabilities as the research theme, and according to the related theories, which put forward some feasible countermeasures to promote synergy competency of scientific research of postgraduates. Results of this thesis hope that provide a useful reference to improve the synergy competency of postgraduates themselves in the future.The paper set up the questionnaire, which based on the relevant literatures study about collaborative capability of scientific research of postgraduates and tutor advice. The paper combined questionnaires and interviews to research the present state and its countermeasures of the synergy competency of scientific research of postgraduates. This paper uses SPSS17.0software to analysis the data of samples, which indicate that:the overall level of collaborative capability of scientific research of postgraduates is not ideal, M=3.4975. At the same time, there are of significant differences in collaborative capability of scientific research of postgraduates on whether they have the experience of scientific research or not; there are also of significant differences the part of dimensions in different gender, different grades, different disciplines (Arts, science and Engineering), whether they are cross the professional examination to go study. According to the results of analysis data and interviews figure out the main problems of the synergy competency of scientific research of postgraduates. The paper follows the "Theory--Investigation--Found problems--Countermeasures" ideas, and according to the synergetic theory, communication theory, symbiosis theory and the core values of Synergetic as the guiding principle put forward the feasible countermeasures.The value of the paper lies in:first, through theoretical analysis, including:the meaning, process, features and significance of synergy of scientific research to figure out the meaning and elements of collaborative capability of scientific research of postgraduates; second, according to the present state to find the problem provide new reference for postgraduate education, schools, teachers, students.
