Research On University Collaborative Innovation Based On Supply Chain

Nowadays, collaborative innovation, as an effective way of integratinginnovation resources and improving innovation efficiency, has become a new trend ofscience and technology innovation activity in the world. Therefore, the thesis appliesthe theory of supply chain to university collaborative innovation and selects thecritical factors affecting collaborative innovation based on the analysis of the currentsituation and problems of universities’ development in collaborative innovation.Meanwhile, in order to accomplish integrated management of university collaborativeinnovation system, the thesis analyzes the coordination mechanism and operationmechanism, and proposes to establish a physical information sharing platform ofuniversity collaborative innovation based on supply chain. The major work andresearch findings of the thesis include:(1) Fully demonstrating the feasibility of supply chain in universitycollaborative innovationWith adequate analysis of university collaborative innovation theory and supplychain theory, the author holds that there is concept convergence, target unity, subjectrelevance, structure consistency and methods interoperability between them, andfinds it feasible and of positive significance to apply supply chain theory to universitycollaborative innovation. Based on the basic idea of supply chain management, aresearch framework of university collaborative innovation has been established,including understanding of the main factors, clarifying the factors, building materialbasis (information platform establishment), proposing process guarantees (operationsystem, coordination mechanisms and operation mechanism), and evaluatinginnovation efficiency.(2) Screening the key factors affecting university collaborative innovation byrough set methodParticipating subjects of university collaborative innovation are influenced bymany factors, which presenting a complex interrelations in the collaborative processof innovation, it is difficult to determine the influence degree on participating subjects.This thesis firstly makes a qualitative analysis of the internal and external factorsinfluencing university collaborative innovation, then treats those factors as conditionattributes and innovation capacity as decision attributes by using rough set theory, and analyzes the relative significance of each factors of the participating subjects by usingattribute importance of rough set theory, so that screening the key factors ofinfluencing university collaborative innovation which are dominated by internalfactors, including human factors, management factors, capital factors and informationfactors. The analysis above contributes the theoretical basis for building universitycollaborative innovation systems based on supply chain.(3) Building university collaborative innovation systems based on supply chainby using supply chain theoryThe thesis considers the key factors of university collaborative innovation,defining the connotation and basic features of university collaborative innovationbased on supply chain, selecting universities, research institutes, government agencies,financial institutions, business organizations and users as main subjects, andconstructing the framework of collaborative innovation based on supply chain, andfinally analyzes the operating mechanism of collaborative innovation fromenvironmental management, talent management, investment and financing,organization, information sharing, etc. which provides theoretical framework forsubsequent efficiency evaluation and the design of information sharing platform.(4) Studying the coordination mechanism for university collaborativeinnovation by using game modelCollaborative innovation resource sharing mechanism aims to illustrate that howthree participants integrate and share innovative resources among them so as toimprove the effectiveness and efficiency of the system. The thesis establishes atripartite game model including government, universities and enterprises. The resultshows that effective supervision of government regulators is the key factorinfluencing resources sharing of collaborative innovation. Through special fundsinvestment and tax incentives to mobilize the initiative of participating subjectsinvolving in collaborative innovation resource sharing, the combination ofgovernment orientation and market demand, of government guidance and marketallocation, the efficient operation of collaborative innovation system can be achieved.What the thesis has found through collaborative innovation study of the rationaldistribution of income based on Shapley value is that the benefit from the universitiesand research institutes, enterprises, government’s tripartite cooperation procedes asingle or any two multi-party cooperation. Collaborative innovation can make theinterests of all parties achieve optimal, which is called Pareto optimal, and ultimately achieving a "win-win" objective.(5) Constructing efficiency evaluation model for university collaborativeinnovation based on supply chain by using DEA methodPerformance evaluation is the measuring stick of efficiency management ofuniversity collaborative innovation. How to measure and improve the performance ofuniversity collaborative innovation in supply chain management to form an effectivesynergy and optimal performance is a key factor to verify the scientificalness andrationality of collaborative innovation system. Through the analysis of the advantagesand disadvantages of existing efficiency evaluation method, the thesis selects the DEAas a method to evaluate university collaborative innovation efficiency, screensefficiency evaluation index of university collaborative innovation, builds efficiencyevaluation model based on DEA by analyzing the quality characteristics of efficiencyevaluation index and factors influencing collaborative innovation efficiency, and thencarries out an empirical study on the model.
