For a long time, many enterprises find it difficult to recruit suitablestandardized technical workers, which brings the technician educators some deepconcerns and thoughts like “Why do those cases happen in coastal regions likeGuangdong province where the economy is developing so fast? What was thesource of “labor shortage”? What reasons cause it happen? What stoppedtechnical institutes continuously providing standardized and skilled workers tothe society? Is it because the education resources and teacher’s skills are notsufficient? Or the operation modes of technician education are unreasonable? Is iibecause the curriculums design is incomplete? Or the education methods areinflexible? Or because the educators do not understand the trend of currenteconomic development and lack effective analysis of employers requirements?And where is the future of technician education?”As an technician educator, allthe above questions confuse me and encourage me to find better solutions. In fact,difficulties of the enterprises’ recruitment are closely related to the current statusof technician education. In order to realize the dream of powerful manufacturingChina, enhancing the occupation skills of manufacturing workers is necessaryand urgent.To achieve the goal of training more and more standardization technical workers,A main approach is to explore a teaching mode which is beneficial to promoteindustrialization, optimize the institute-enterprise cooperation and innovate theoperation policies and regulations of training excellent talents All in all, it isurgent to explore the advantages of institute-enterprise cooperation mode intechnician education and then serve it for further training.Guangdong National Defense Science&Technology Institute is one of thenational senior technician education institutes. Its guiding principle for runningschool is “Focusing On Skills”. The key points of teaching is to practice students’operational skill, especially the most popular major--CNC machinery major. Itconsists sufficient curriculum and applies the mode of institute-enterprise operation to realize the students employment rate at100%after graduation. As anacademic dean of CNC machinery major, the author realizes that the talentstraining system under the mode of institute-enterprise cooperation still have along way to go, and hopes find a practical approach under current status.Firstly, the report introduces the domestic and overseas training modes ofinstitute-enterprise. And then analyzes the current status of institute-enterprisecooperation mode and the possible influential factors of it. Secondly, it discussesthe potential problems that may have impact on the institute-enterprisecooperation mode. The third, it gives some constructive advices and strategies forfuture education instructions of CNC machinery majors to develop theinstitute-enterprise cooperation modes in Guangdong province.
