Agriculture and forestry colleges, as the biggest output source of agricultural postgraduates of our country, should cultivate agricultural talents who correspond with the present agricultural development and promote the future agricultural development of our country. From the training scale in postgraduate education, our country has become a big country of postgraduate education. But the training conditions, training models, training quality and training systems are not improved and developed synchronously, thus restricting or influencing the training quality improvement. Meanwhile, due to the influence of the traditional education system, in our country’s cultivation of agricultural postgraduates, problems arise that excellent student resources have been scarce for quite a long time and training conditions are comparatively lagging behind. In the cultivation of agricultural postgraduates, traditional agricultural postgraduates show the tendency to lay particular stress on academic purposes, lack innovation and practical abilities, have poor comprehensive quality, be weak in humanity quality, have narrow professional education and strong utilitarian orientation, which affects the flexibility and practicality of the cultivation of agricultural talents. The problems above may not be solved if agricultural postgraduates are cultivated just by using external monitoring system. The construction and completion of the internal monitoring system of the cultivation of postgraduates and the strengthening of the management in the process of cultivatinging postgraduates are the effective ways to guarantee the training quality of postgraduates.This article mainly makes research into the internal monitoring system of the training quality of agricultural postgraduates. It consists of seven chapters. Chapter One introduces the sources and significance of the subject, domestic and international literature review and research methods; Chapter Two defines some of the basic concepts of this article and analyzes the basic theoretical; Chapter Three analyzes the training quality of agricultural postgraduates and internal monitoring factors and raises problems in the cultivation of agricultural postgraduates through the investigation of internal monitoring construction system and the implementation of the training quality of agricultural postgraduates in universities affiliated to the Ministry of Education; Chapter Four provides reference for the construction and operation of our country’s internal monitoring system of the training quality of agricultural postgraduates by analyzing the case of internal monitoring system of the training quality of postgraduates in Cornell Graduate School and University of Wisconsin-Madison, Department of Botany; Chapter Five preliminarily constructs the internal monitoring system of the training quality of agricultural postgraduates and analyzes construction principles, construction elements and operational mechanism; Chapter Six puts forward strategies and measures to operate effectively the internal monitoring system of the training quality of agricultural postgraduates, based on the establishment of multi cultivation concept of quality, the optimization of the organizational structure, the refinement of evaluation level, the completion of the feedback system and the improvement of the social security system. Chapter7make a summary of the research achievements and innovations, present the defects and prospects of the research.
