Universities are the concentration camp of training and transporting socialismmodernization talents for our country, which teaching quality decides the quality oftalents training. Country’s policy based on education, the education policy based onteachers. The teacher’s teaching ability is the key factor that affects the quality ofteaching in Colleges and Universities. Young teachers account for a large componentin our teachers. The teaching ability has a direct influence on the teaching quality ofhigher education in China. Therefore, how to improve the teaching ability’s level ofyoung teachers in our Universities effectively will become the most important.In this study, by means of experimental research, take the questionnaire andinformal interviews, to investigate the basic situation of young teachers teachingability in three universities in Inner Mongolia. Divided into the following problems:First, at present, the young teachers in Colleges and universities of our countryhas many advantages, but there are still some problems of teaching ability, the lack ofenthusiasm for teaching, consciousness and ability of teaching reflection is notenough, the value orientation of imbalance. Although the vast majority of youngteachers have expressed a willingness to participate in the organization of trainingactivities, due to the insufficient attention on this aspect and the implementation is notin place, the development of teaching ability of young teachers in the formation of acertain constraint.Second, aiming at the existing problems of young teachers’ teaching ability, thereason can be summarized into three aspects of individual, universities and policysystem. From the perspective of young teachers, the main influence factors are theattitude is not correct, teaching enthusiasm is not high, moral consciousness is weak,lack of responsibility, knowledge structure is not complete, transformation ability ispoor, the lack of initiative and teaching reflection. From the perspective ofuniversities, attention to the introduction of talent but despising the internal training,evaluation index is too inclined to scientific research, the lack of young teachers’ encouragement, teaching supervision is not in place, ignore school spirit constructionand the construction of teaching style. From the perspective of policy system, therelevant education laws and regulations are not perfect, disadvantages of teacherqualification system.Third, through the analysis of the influence factors, put forward respectively forcultivation and promotion strategy. On the one hand, correct teaching attitude, at thesame time, starting from the enthusiasm, moral and knowledge. On the other hand,colleges and universities should provide training platform for developing teachingability of young teachers. Meanwhile, improve the evaluation mechanism andincentive mechanism. Last, the country should improve and perfect the related lawsand regulations, and reform the teacher qualification system.
