Under the reform of education,the society has put forward higher demands for teaching staff construction.With noble teacher ethics,excellent teaching skills,professional and a well-structured team can better cultivate high-quality talents contributing to the society.Schools should give priority to improving teaching skills systematically and scientifically,as the foundation of education development and management.In this study,we took the teaching skill training of rural junior middle school teachers in Hohhot as the research subject,selected three representative rural middle schools in Hohhot for investigation,and discuss some thoughts on the teaching management ability training of rural junior middle school teachers in Hohhot.This paper is composed of three parts.The first part introduces the basic concepts,theories,and reviews relevant research studies.In the second part,we investigated and analyzed current teaching skill training provided countryside junior middle schools in Hohhot,using questionnaires.We finally found five manage capacity problems in these training programs,including(1)lack of motivation to participate(2)difficulty to adapt to training programs(3)inflexible training methodology(4)lack of regard from school management for teaching skill trainings(5)lack of clear training focus and objectives.Further analysis also revealed possible reasons for these problems,which are as follows:(1)incomplete comprehensive understanding of teaching ability(2)imperfect normal training of teaching(3)unscientific evaluation criterion(4)ineffective incentive system(5)lacking in support from the education departmentIn the third part,we discussed possible strategies to improve the quality and effect of teaching skill training programs in countryside junior middle schools,via increasing the support from education department,providing incentives from school management and raising teaching faculty awareness of self-career development.
