In the shift from a great manufacturing nation to a powerful manufacturing nation, with the market’s more and more strong demand for high technology and skilled worker class talent, China has a fully understand on the strategic position of education in higher vocational colleges. However, the contradiction between talent training quality and social needs has become an indisputable fact. This contradiction, perceived at a profound level, comes from inharmonious between high quality applied talents training goal and obviously disciplined tending teaching mode. The biggest difference between higher vocational colleges and regular undergraduate school is students’hands-on practical ability. If graduates of higher vocational college lost their competitiveness on the level of vocational ability, they will attendant lose their advantage of irreplacability in the battlefield of employment, which will bring major impact on the development of higher vocational colleges, or even challenge the rationality of its existence. So, higher vocational education, as a kind of higher education, its talent training rule should be different from academic talents’,and its current core mission should be educational reform, especially, the reform of its teaching mode. Consequently, project-driven teaching method can highlight the characteristics of higher vocational colleges, and prompt its reform move towards to more and more superior level.This article takes the computer-networks instruction of Guangzhou Sontan Polytechnic College as a case to conduct the applied research in concrete practice of the project-driven teaching method. The article is divided into four parts:First and foremost, it mainly to indicate problems existed in the vocational education’s computer-networks instruction, and indicated reasons out of these problems.In addition, it aims to analyzed problems existed in the vocational education’s computer-networks instruction, and indicated reasons out of these problems.Then, it is meant to take the computer-networks instruction of Guangzhou Sontan Polytechnic College as the case to expound project-driven teaching method’s specific implementation in the computer-networks instruction.Last but not least, it put forward project-driven teaching method’s achievements and problems it should pay more attention to.
