Study On The One-child Family Pension Issues Of Small And Medium-sized City

Population aging is a prominent feature of human development in the21st century,because our country population is numerous, and the improvement of living conditions,the aging of the population growing problem. In seventy’s of last century, due to China’slarge population, the Chinese government began in the late seventy’s implementation offamily planning policy, then the family planning policy fully implemented in thecountry, and to determine a basic national policy for China’s long-term. Since theimplementation of family planning policy, the first batch of the only child has graduallystepped into the society, the one-child families parents gradually into the old agepension problem, one-child families has received more and more attention of expertsand scholars. The son wants to serve his parents in their old age, but they are no more,pension issue has become the focus concerned by people.Firstly, this paper analyzes the particularity of small and medium-sized city onlychild family endowment is different from the big city. One-child families in small andmedium-sized city in the development process showed the family structureminiaturization;"Empty Nester" family; population aging, the aging changes of fastdevelopment. The only child in the maintenance process of their parents, bear theeconomic, spiritual and physical aspects of pressure. This paper expounds the mainsupport of one-child families in small and medium-sized city, and compared with thenew pension mode of large city.Secondly, a questionnaire survey was conducted in Yuci District, the one-childfamily parental status and endowment, the basic situation of the one-child families, staff,and parents of one-child family health, retirement pension payments and expectationsare analysed respectively. Analysis of Yuci district the one-child family pension theresults of the investigation and research, existing problems and reasons of the one-childfamily pension.Finally, according to the actual situation of Yuci District, given the one-childfamily pension policy recommendations. Specific include: Strengthen the constructionof ethics, to establish a good social atmosphere; to establish and perfect the system,improve the one-child family pension construction; increase investment, improve theone-child family pension security level.
