Drama is a collection of literature, music, dance, art, performance, and other artisticelements of a comprehensive art form. It with its own artistic charm, with nourishing humanemotion, enhance the role of the human spirit, purify people’s heart. Therefore, in the highschool language teaching, whether it is a compulsory course, or the elective courses areregarded drama teaching as indispensable important content of Chinese language teaching inhigh school.The\"drama\" in high school Chinese drama teaching should be a\"dramatic literature\",namely theater used by the script, is the most basic part of the drama art composition. In thedrama literature teaching, effectively guide the students to read literature, theater, can letstudents, under the edify of drama language, to feel the unique charm of drama; In dramacontent of reading, broaden horizons, life taste, purify the mind. However, in the reality of thereal drama teaching environment is cool, the current situation is grim. Many first-line teachersexam the influence of utilitarian view, combined with their own professional, do not attachimportance to teaching drama literature, often in the practical teaching will be attached asnovel, prose, poetry, never realize drama literature and the unique artistic charm and value ofteaching.In the Chinese drama teaching, Chinese teacher the first is to possess a sense of style.The drama and other literary genres, especially novels, thus, to determine the teaching contentof drama literature. The teaching content is the basis of teaching activities, is to achieve theteaching goal and service. Determine the drama of the teaching content, how to teach studentsabout the content? This needs with a certain number of teaching strategies and methods.Drama teaching strategies and methods are many, should adopt what kind of teachingstrategies and methods, this will be according to the drama teaching goal, content, and todetermine the characteristics of drama literature.In order to make clear these problems this paper will of drama literature teaching fromthree aspects. Introduced the first part starts with the analysis of teaching material, teachingmaterial of drama literature contents and its teaching requirements, and to dig deeper into the title on the ideological content and artistic features of student education value. The secondpart the author’s rural high school, for example, in the form of questionnaire and interview tounderstand the current situation of drama literature, as well as the cause of this situation. Thethird part is the clear the specific content of Chinese drama literature teaching high school,namely drama literature common sense, the plot of the drama, drama conflict, dramacharacters, drama language, etc. And in the specific teaching content, on the basis of findingthe right strategies and methods of teaching.
