Language is the first element of a drama.Grasping the language of a drama is grasping the soul of a character and the inner world of the character.Therefore,to grasp the character and understand the connotation of the works,we must start with the language of the drama and grasp the linguistic features of the drama language so as to understand the rich connotation hidden in the deep language.This paper mainly focuses on the high school Chinese Textbooks of East China Normal University,discusses the language characteristics of its drama selections and combines specific lesson examples to collate its practice in the teaching.This paper is mainly composed of three parts: introduction,body and epilogue.Among them,the text is divided into three chapters.The first chapter is "the distribution and language characteristics of the drama literature in the high school Chinese Textbooks of East China Normal University".It mainly discusses the distribution and language characteristics of the drama literature in the high school Chinese Textbooks of East China Normal University.From this,I came to the conclusion that drama literature has a small proportion but involves a wide range in the textbooks.At the same time,I pointed out that the dramatic language has the characteristics of action,character,lyric,musicality,colloquial and implicit.The second chapter is "the teaching of drama language characteristics in Chinese drama".I take the "Thunderstorm" script as an example to talk about the teaching of Chinese drama language characteristics.This paper discusses the three linguistic features of the "Thunderstorm" script,"the strong action of characters' dialogue","the meticulous and vivid stage hints" and "the thoughtful subtexts",and combines specific lesson examples to collate its practice in the teaching.The third chapter is "the teaching of drama language characteristics in Chinese opera ".I take "The injustice to Dou E" and "The Changting Farewell" as examples to talk about the teaching of Chinese opera language characteristics.The four language features of "the use of classical poetry","the good use of folk oral","the wonderful use of various rhetorical devices" and "the skillful use of lyrical ways" are discussed in this paper,and combining specific lesson examples to collate its practice in the teaching.The innovation of this article is discussing the language characteristics of thedrama selections in the high school Chinese Textbooks of East China Normal University,and combining specific lesson examples to collate its practice in the teaching,hoping to provide some reference and help for the teachers in the teaching of drama language.
