Developmental teaching theory was introduced to China in the late1970s. Developmental teaching theory with Chinese characteristics has experienced more than30years, which have a significant impact on teaching theory and teaching practice in our country. Developmental teaching theory with Chinese characteristics has experienced several different stages of development with different characteristics and impacts, including translation and introduction, evaluation and preliminary application and deepening application and innovation. With the efforts of theoretical educators and educational practice workers, Developmental teaching theory with Chinese characteristics has accumulated a lot of valuable experience, which can provide insights for other teaching theory in China.The Developmental teaching theory through a variety of ways into China, and presents more complex forms of transmission in the course. At the beginning of Developmental teaching theory of incoming, translating and introducing foreign publications are the basic ways of Developmental teaching theory in China; in the wake of spread of developmental teaching theory, China set off a wide range of educational reform; meanwhile, workers of educational theory combined Developmental teaching theory with teaching practice and created out of the Developmental teaching theory with Chinese characteristics; after the implementation of the new curriculum reform, primary and secondary education and each discipline tested and applied positively on the developmental teaching theory.Developmental teaching theory has had a big impact on the education of all types and levels in our country, and widely applied in the teaching of all subjects. With that, school education in our country has undergone great changes in educational philosophy, teaching objectives, teaching strategies, evaluation and research methodology and so on.There are many reasons of Developmental teaching theory in transmission and transformation in China, mainly including the theory itself, ideological factors, educational policy-oriented factors, economic factors and research subject factors. These factors facilitate or hinder the course of Developmental teaching theory in China in deferent degrees.Developmental teaching theory with Chinese characteristics gives us the following revelations:basing on Chinese teaching practice; making efforts to realize theory innovation; promoting participation of diversified subjects and improving the quality of research subjects; shouldering the mission of construct teaching theory with Chinese characteristics.
