The obvious difference between modern education and traditional education lies in the fact that: the position of student-center is valued, the awareness of student-center is especially aroused, the competence of the students is cultivated, and the individual personality of the students is built up, which has fully motivated the students’ activeness and creativeness in study for the purpose of making the students develop lively, initiatively and harmoniously. So, today in the course of carrying out the all-around quality-oriented education, it is practical and essentially important to search for the best way for the teachers to guide the students to participate in the classroom teaching actively and initiatively, which is just what the author of this essay is trying to do with the help of the actual history teaching experience in senior grade one.This paper covers four parts:Part One: Expounds that the guidance of the Students’ participation in the classroom teaching is the inevitable requirement of the development of times from the theory of teaching and education, the theory of curriculum reform and the foundation of subjects.Part Two: Concludes that the guidance of teachers still plays an important part in the guidance of the students’ participation in the classroom teaching according to the analysis of the present situation and expounds the requirements to the leading role of teachers further.Part Three: The strategies of the guidance of the students’ participation in the classroom teaching, which are stated from the following three aspects: Firstly, creating the democratic and equal atmosphere of the classroom teaching is the foundation of the guidance of the students’ participation in the classroom teaching. Secondly, providing the students with the chances and enough time is the guarantee of the guidance of the students’ participation in the classroom teaching and finally making the classroom teaching more efficient is the focus of the guidance of the students’ participation in the classroom teaching.Part Four: Thoughts after the author’s personal practice in the guidance of the students’ participation in the history classroom teaching.
