With the rapid development of economy, the demand of wood in domestic isgrowing, the increase of forest resource is far from meeting the increase of thedemand to wood. Forestry in China faces great development opportunity. But thepressure of ecological conservation brings great challenge to our forestry. Thesituation of forestry puts forward higher request to risk management of afforestationproject. Moreover, the research on risk management has not taken shape theoreticalsystem. So the research on risk management of afforestation project has theoreticaland practical significance.This paper presents simple exposition of the basic theory of risk management,and on the basis of which, choosing ecological afforestation project in Qingzhou cityas study object, the paper performs risk identification and risk evaluation to ecologicalafforestation and raises corresponding risk prevention measures. Firstly, according tothe characteristics of ecological afforestation project, the paper identifies the risks inthe process of ecological afforestation project, defines18risk factors and establishesthe risk evaluation index system of ecological afforestation project. Secondly, thepaper evaluates the comprehensive risk of ecological afforestation project and makesdecision that the comprehensive risk is in normal level. Thirdly, on the basis of riskidentification and risk evaluation, combing the actual condition of ecologicalafforestation project, the paper puts forward the risk prevention measures. The paperraises corresponding measures to different risks to keep the risk down to the lowestlevel to ensure the smooth completion of ecological afforestation Project.
