The survival and development of human are materially based on the land resources, whichis also the foundation of our agricultural production and economic development. With thein-depth development of economic construction in China, continued population growth,cultivated land area reduction and threats to food security, ensuring the1.8billion mu ofarable land is a prerequisite for maintaining a stable socio-economic development. Landconsolidation is the effective way to increase in cultivated area, improve the quality ofcultivated land and to achieve sustainable land availability. Evaluation of land consolidationbenefit is to constrain and guide land management activities. After the implementation of landconsolidation, we should ensure that economic, social and ecological benefits and landscapebenefits develop coordinately, and ensure the comprehensive benefit of land consolidation andrehabilitation activities to reach the best, achieving sustainable land availability.This article is based on the theory research of land consolidation and evaluation of landconsolidation benefit. An indicator-system is built by23indicators from four aspectsincluding economic benefits, social benefits, ecological benefits and landscape benefits. Wechoose the method—Analytical Hierarchy Process to count every target weight and applyMatter-element Evaluation Model as evaluation model of land consolidation benefit, whichcan solve incompatible problems. After establishing evaluation standard, we use theassociated degrees between evaluation indicators and evaluation grades to determine whichcategory each evaluation indicator belongs to.We take land consolidation and reclamation projects of nanhe and other seven villages inYaoxu Yushui district in Xinyu city in for example to make research. Our research findings:the project of integrated efficiency associated index reaches0.1574, and "good" evaluationgrade is the most closely associated, which is attached to the "good" category. Thus it makesgood comprehensive benefit of the project, in line with the implementation of landconsolidation in the first place.
