In recent years, the high-speed economic growth of Huizhou city, but should not be ignoredis that at the same time of rapid growth, Growth pattern of the problem is more outstanding, the"high input, low output, low efficiency, export-oriented" model has does not conform to thereality of economic development needs. Need to accelerate the transformation of economicdevelopment patterns, and to speed up the transformation of economic development patterns,realize the sustainable development of low cost, high benefit, the key lies in technologicalinnovation. Research topics of this paper, therefore, not only has important theoreticalsignificance, but also has practical value.Firstly, this paper conducted the comprehensive evaluation on the economic development and scientificand technological development in Huizhou, including the evaluation on the competitiveness of science andtechnology and the performance of scientific and technological input-output. It took the sampling survey onthe science and technology of enterprises to obtain the first-hand micro survey data. It established theevaluation index system for the economic development supported by the science and technology in Huizhou totake the quantitative analysis on the role of science and technology to support the economic development. Itthen proposed the key fields, target and mission, strategic path and policies for the science andtechnology-supported transformation of the economic development mode. as this paper adopts the statisticmethods of principal component, factor and cluster, and econometric analysis of cointegration, regression andGranger causality test to strive for the integration of qualitative and quantitative analysis. Based on theresearch conducted, this paper proposed the focus area, goals, policies, strategic plans of technology orientedtransformation of economy development. In order to realize the economy transformation and balanceddevelopment, Huizhou government must rely on the justifications regarding the consisting change of scientificprogress and scientific structures.
