Work stress brings about many individual physiological, psychological andbehavior results, especially highly turnover phenomenon, and becomes an importantfactor that influences enterprise management and development. The research on thework stress of international project expatriate managerial staff is practicallymeaningful.At present, there is few empirical research on the relationship between workstress and turnover intention of international project expatriate managerial staff underthe background of Chinese culture. Taking the high work stress and high turnover ofthe international project expatriate managerial staff as the research objects, this thesistries to identify the work stress of the international project expatriate managerial staff,and research the relationship between work stress and turno ver intention. At the sametime, according to the Social Exchange theory and the Principle of Reciprocity, thisthesis selected perceived organizational support as moderating variable, andresearched on the moderation effect of perceived organizational support to the workstress and turnover intention. Four hypotheses were brought through literature review,and tested through multi-statistics analysis after gaining172valid questionnaires. Inresult, this thesis tested that work stress and turnover intention of international projectexpatriate managerial staff are significant positive correlation, work stress andperceived organizational support are significant negative correlation, perceivedorganizational support and turnover intention significant are negative correlation, themoderation effect of perceived organizational support is significant to the work stressand turnover intention. At last, some suggestions of stress management forinternational engineering contracting corporation were proposed.
