| Lu’an City, commonly known as "West Anhui "is located in western part of Anhui Province, it is an important transportation hub city and has wide range of high quality resources in tourism. Convenient traffic conditions and unique resource advantages provided an opportunity for the development of tourism for Lu’an City. After recent years of sustainable development, Lu’an tourism industry had achieved remarkable results. The economic benefits of tourism had been significantly enhanced, the tourism industry system was gradually improved, the overall efficiency of tourism was increasingly significant. However, compared with surrounding cities and famous tourist city, there is a large gap between Lu’an City and them, mainly manifested in the weak tourism infrastructure and publicity and marketing efforts, the lack of growing ability in enterprise, and there is little of famous attractions.Through practical investigation to collect the data, based on the theory of the development of the tourism industry, this thesis summarizes the present situation of tourism in Lu’an City, under the framework of SWOT analysis this thesis pointed out that Lu’an City tourism development is facing opportunities, challenges, development and threat. Finally, the author put forward development strategies for Lu’an tourism industry, aiming to promote the healthy development of the tourism industry more quicklyThe result of this paper has a certain significance for some other under-development but potential zones. |
