| Incentive mechanism is an important element in the management of enterprise. Incentive can not only recognize, reward the performance of the employees and mobilize the initiative of the employees but also can realize the enterprise value and guide the employees’ performance. The establishment of the incentive management is based on the satisfaction of the human needs. The motive of people directly decides the form and content of the incentive mechanism. The employees not only require the enterprise to be equipped with engine of survival but also the motive of success and cultural identity.The paper adopts the case study as the main study form and carries out the work by literature reading, questionnaire survey and interviews. First of all, on the basis of reviewing the classic theories of incentive mechanism, this paper analyzes the status quo and problems of the incentive mechanism in traditional hydropower enterprises. Then, from the target-----the geographical environment of X hydropower plant, human environment, job specification and the working staff, the paper takes a thorough analysis of the X hydropower plant. Combined with Maslow’s hierarchy of needs and Herzberg’s two-factor theory, on the basis of motives of human survival, success and cultural identity, this paper analyzes the characteristics of demand of the employees at the X hydropower plant. The paper also verifies the demands of the employees derived from the theories by online questionnaires; thus, set the foundation for designing the incentive mechanism. At last, design the principles and methods by combing the incentive mechanism. This paper designs the incentive mechanism of the hydropower plant and produce "trinity" incentive mechanism composed of materials, success and culture.The research itself is the re-learning and application of the classic theories. The classic western theories of incentive mechanisms were practiced into the local case and therefore the integrated and effective "trinity" incentive mechanism is produced. The new mechanism can solve many problems in the development of the X hydropower plant and provide some reference to the state-owned enterprises in the establishment of the incentive mechanism, especially those whose employees work under hard conditions. |
