The Study On The Implementation Strategy Of Policy Management In DF Motor Propeller Shaft Corporation

China’s auto parts manufacturing industry is facing the increasingly toughcompetitions. Generally, the quality of auto parts products of international brands is betterthan domestic brands, as well as the competitive ability. Therefore, it’s important fordomestic enterprises to introduce advanced management methods to enhancecompetitiveness and improve product quality. This thesis explored the strategy ofimplementing policy management based on a auto part company in China which willbenefit for the development of other companies when they will introduce newmanagement methods.The policy management aims to achieve the long-term goal of the enterprises whilecombining with the annual strategy. And it is a scientific management method bydecomposing goals into sub-goals and fully motivating the employees. Based on theperspective of policy management theory and the analysis of competitive environment ofthe auto parts industry, this thesis took the DF Motor Propeller Shaft corporate as the caseand explored the process of the policy management implementation. It analyzed theproblems and causes during the implementation process. Finally, it tried to put forwardsome practical suggestions.The results of this thesis indicate that firms should focus on continuously improvingmanagement philosophy, to set challenging goals for the work. Then the data flowmanagement is important so that firms should establish a good process-oriented datamanagement for the final implementation of the policies. In addition, firms shouldcombine the key performance indicators with policy objectives and take necessary andeffective process control to ensure the goals realization..
