Research On Industrial Structure Optimization Carbon Constraints

Industrial structure is the foundation and core of a national and regional economic development, and the basic skeleton of the development of our national economy. Throughout the history of China’s economic development, the development of a modern economy is based on changes of the industrial structure. Since the reform and opening up in China, the adjustment pace of the industrial structure in Sichuan speed up quickly, find a Sichuan development path and has made rapid progress in the economy, which can be got from the expanding of total economy, and people’s markedly improved living standards. However, the rapid economic development in Sichuan also brought tremendous pressure on natural resources and the environment, the potential of economic development is more and more constrained by resources and environment. Extensive economic development model of high input, high energy consumption, high emission and low efficiency has hindered to the enhancement of Sichuan economy’s quality and improvement of people’s quality of life. At the same time, in the context of global warming, environmental pollutants, especially greenhouse gas emissions almost synchronized with the economic growth. Sichuan must go low carbon emissions of the industrial structure optimization roads, no matter for carbon emissions’reducing in response to climate warming or for the upgrade optimizing as well as the sustainable development of economy, or for the realization of industrial structure in Sichuan Province,In this paper, Sichuan Province is the subject for the study. At the basis of previous studies, through the combination of theoretical analysis, linear programming analysis and gray correlation analysis, under the premise of doing not affect the economic benefits carbon emissions reduction and the optimization of Industrial Structure, Sichuan industrial structure optimization connotation was proposed based on the carbon emission reduction. Then combined the main characteristics of Sichuan Province’s economic growth and industrial structure changes in recent years, we present the direction the industrial structure optimization and countermeasures to be taken in the future of Sichuan.Major contents of this study include:(1) the basic theoretical explanation of the industrial structure optimization;(2) mechanism analysis of industrial structure on carbon emissions;(3) the construction of Sichuan industrial structure optimization model based on the carbon emission reduction;(4) the countermeasures of the industrial structure optimization in Sichuan.
