Migrant Workers Influencing Factors Of Urban Integration

With the development of China’s urbanization, industrialization, urbanization of farmers is an irreversible trend of historical development, at the same time is a huge system engineering. Migrant workers work in various areas of the city, the power of their contribution to the construction and development of the city, but as migrant farmers, because of their various institutional and non institutional constraints, they are always on the edge of the city, they has not been really accept by city, accept unfair treatment, in a weak position in the social groups. To promote the migrant workers into the city, we should analyze the impact of migrant workers deeper integration of urban factors and clear the obstacle migrant workers into the city, create conditions for migrant workers to integrate into the city.In this paper, using literature analysis, empirical analysis, comparative research method, set up a complete content framework, through empirical analysis found the factors affecting migrant workers to integrate into the city:individual characteristics factors, economic factors, social factors, psychological factors. The impact of these factors for descriptive statistics, chi square test of independence and Logistic model analysis are as follows:From the individual characteristics, the olders than the younger ones urban settlement will strongly, the higher education level than the residency education degree strong appetite settling down in city, migrant workers migrant years elder than the duration of residence in the city will strongly;From the economic level factors, the higher income than lower income strong appetite settling down in city;From the social level level factors that refers to the social capital, it is often dealing with citizens than not often peoples has a strong willingness to settle, city friends much than urban junior strong appetite settling down in city, who participated in the social security will strongly than those who did not participate in Social Security urban settlement;From the psychological level factors, non pure economic reasons for migrant workers than workers pure economic causes have a strong city settlement intention, workers who has the higher job satisfaction than the lower have a strong appetite in settling into city, with a strong willingness by the public and from between the wishes of the people is stronger than the will of weaker urban settlement.Thus, older, highly educated, migrant workers, long service life, high income, often dealing with the public, many urban friends, participate in social security, non-pure economic reasons migrant workers,high job satisfaction, the wishes of the people and from the high migrant workers than younger, less educated, shorter migrant life, lower income, less frequently with the public exchange, less urban friend, no participate in Social Security, pure economic reasons migrant workers, low job satisfaction, willingness dealings with the public migrant workers have a strong willingness to settle in cities.Finally, the results of empirical analysis gives some suggestions to promote the integration of migrant workers in the city: The first, integrate education and training resources, increasing investment in education and training; Second, deepen the reform of income distribution system, improving the income level of migrant workers; Fhird, establish the social security system with characteristics of migrant workers; Fourth, built the social capital system that promoting the integration of migrant workers in urban; Fifth, promote integration of migrant workers changing mental state area.
