With the continuous development of new urbanization, the social integration of migrant workers has become one of the core issues of new urbanization. The basis for migrant workers to achieve social integration lies in their economic footing, which enables them to participate in urban life until they truly achieve a foothold in the city. The quality of employment plays an important role in the economic development of rural migrant workers. The quality of employment will directly affect the process of social integration of migrant workers. The migrant workers' groups are vulnerable to various unfair treatment during the labor process, their own rights and interests cannot be effectively guaranteed, and it is difficult to achieve decent work, resulting in a phenomenon of “decent work deficit”.On the basis of in-depth analysis and compilation of domestic and foreign literatures on decent work deficits and social integration of migrant workers,we will study the status and influencing factors of migrant workers' social integration from the perspective of decent work deficits.Using the data from the “National Floating Population Dynamic Surveillance Survey” provided by the former National Health and Family Planning Commission in 2013,using the decent work deficit of migrant workers as the key variable of the study, the linear and nonlinear random intercept model in the multi-layer model was used for empirical analysis. The migrant workers' monthly income, community participation, rapport degree and residence intention are taken as the dependent variables to measure their degree of social integration;decent work deficits, lack of employment, lack of rights, lack of social protection, and lack of social dialogue.Individual basic characteristics and other control factors are control variables.Respectively, the individual variables were separately and regressed with the dependent variables, and the relationship between the decent work deficit and the social integration of migrant workers was empirically analyzed. Finally, corresponding conclusions were drawn and relevant policy recommendations were proposed. The results of the study found that, first, the differences in the nature of work units have a significant impact on the social integration of migrant workers.Second, participating in free government training is conducive to the social integration of migrant workers.Third, participation in urban endowment insurance has significantly promoted the social integration of migrant workers.Fourth, the establishment of residents' health records has significantly increased the probability of social integration of migrant workers.Fifth, the union participation rate has no significant effect on the social integration of migrant workers.Based on the above findings, the following policy recommendations are proposed.First, take an active employment policy.Second, expand the scale of government free training.Third, protect the rights of migrant workers to receive equal pay for equal work.Fourth, accelerate the improvement of the social security status of migrant workers.Fifth, actively promote the establishment of resident workers' health records.Through the above policy recommendations,we will improve the status quo of decent work deficits for migrant workers and better promote the social integration of migrant workers.
