China’s theme park is in a booming stage during twenty-first Century, Large amusement facilities are an essential part of the theme park, and the most attractive for the visitors is the Roller Coaster. For example, the Wooden Roller Coaster of Shanghai Happy Valley, Diving Coaster and Ten Inversion Roller Coaster of Guangzhou Chimelong Paradise, 4D Roller Coaster of Changzhou China Dinosaur Park, etc.China is increasing emphasis on the safety of special equipment, safety online monitoring technology of roller coaster is becoming more and more important.In this thesis, the author studied the feasibility of applying the sensors and programmable controller to monitor the safety of the roller coaster. Based on the principle of the sensor, application of programmable controller may realize the safety interlocking of the roller coaster which is the key mean of online monitoring in the application of man-machine interface, and thus provide reference for the designer of the roller coaster. The main work of this thesis includes:(1) By reviewing related literature from home to abroad, the author has carried on the comprehensive understanding to the research status of the monitoring technology online of the amusement facilities and the use of domestic and international facilities,found that the main research directions of monitoring online of amusement facilities are to be solved by using the programmable controller and the man-machine interface.(2) The author Analysis the structure and operating principle of roller coaster, and the function, characteristic and principle of FlexLogix controller and its software.(3) This analysis has been made to realize the safety interlocking of roller coaster, including the hardware requirement, the requirement of FlexLogix controller, the advantages and disadvantages of RSLogix software, and the feasibility of establishing the system.(4) Based on the FlexLogix controller, the system is designed by using RSLogix 5000 software.(5) Combined with the overall design of the above, six online monitoring interface modules, which contain safety monitoring and safety monitoring are realized.(6) The effectiveness of online monitoring system and safety interlocking system is demonstrated through simulation test and analysis.The design results of this paper can provide a theoretical basis and technical support for the domestic amusement industry to further improve the safety of recreational facilities.
