Protection for the accuracy and rapidity has a very important significance. Underthe traditional way is to get under maximum operating mode setting value, bechecked at minimum mode, custom once identified will no longer be changed. AndNow is China’s power industry is in a stage of rapid development, also runs a varietyof ways, the original setting value may not be ready to meet all system requirementsfor selectivity and sensitivity, causing a variety of actions resulting in incorrecttremendous impact. Therefore unworthy to discover the setting value is especiallyimportant.This article applies to the regional power grid built to protect the value of thecheck system, so that the original complex manual operation into a computeroperation, greatly improving the work efficiency. Firstly, embarked on the basicstructure of an expert system, working mechanism and development steps, and expertsystems used in the process of checking in the relay setting. Then modular design, theoverall function of the system is divided become five separate modules: a graphicalmodeling module, fault calculation module, setting calculation module, customchecking module and data management module. After the process of solving theshort-circuit fault calculations, the paper uses WARD equivalent static method, on thepart of external networks were not interested in the equivalent simplified so as toachieve the purpose of reducing the size of the network computing. Tuning processanalysis and comparison and verification process, combined with the actual situationof the regional power grid, integrated refining criteria for checking various protectivestate. Finally, to build a friendly man-machine interface, easy to operate various typesof users to achieve and have a good system to experience feelings.
