As water resources abundant in our country, the national economy developing at a high speed, a new upsurge in the development of hydropower resources is coming. After the’Lubuge’shock, project management of hydropower construction has gradually accepted, and become the focus of many scholars. It has been proved, if the schedule of the hydropower project is controlled, huge social and economic benefits will be produced. Practice has proved, if the progress control, will produce huge social and economic benefits. Although the domestic and foreign research on project management has some research findings, practicability in production is insufficient. So we research further schedule management on the hydropower construction project.In the construction process of hydropower station, the application of network planning technique has been very popular, which can achieve the reasonable plan, shorten the construction period, and used for probability analysis through Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT). The paper use same differential method to optimize network planning, adds the quality coefficient in the mathematical models, so this mathematical models is more practical, then let the same differential method concise and practical, by formula derivation. For example, Network planning is optimized in Changdian Hydropower Station. Then probabilistic analysis is carried out by using PERT technology to the calculation results, for the project management decision to giving technical support.In order to the optimized schedule can be effectively implemented, through analyzing the features of schedule management of hydropower project, the corresponding management measures have been formulated, and project schedule management process has been designed. Although the project of Changdian hydropower station has not yet completed, now the progress of the project management is effective, and controlled. The schedule optimization and schedule control ensure the Changdian hydropower station put into operation before the flood season in2014, and brought great benefits to the project parties.
