Distribution system, which directly faces the users, is the key to ensure supplyreliability and power quality and improve operational efficiency and innovativeservices. As the demand on power quality and reliability increases, the increasingrequirements on the dispatching management for distribution networks are proposedand the implementation of distribution automation has become an important part ofthe construction of distribution networks. This thesis studies the intelligentdistribution automation under the background of smart grid and gives the followingcontributions.(1) The basic structure of distribution automation system is proposed, whichconsists of distribution automation master station, sub-stations and terminals. Fromaspects of troubleshooting, cyclization estimated, power flow calculation, loadforecasting, simulation, other intelligent corresponding application, theimplementation of the key technologies of distribution automation is analyzed.(2) The fundamental need of distribution automation is analyzed to lay thefoundation of the implementation scheme of distribution automation. Generalplanning objectives is set as a guide to establish the detailed distribution automationplanning objectives systems from aspects of network construction, distributionautomation master station construction, distribution substation construction,distribution terminal construction. According to the four aspects of objective above,implementation of specific programs is established. At the same time, the constructionscheme of smart grid in the aspects of fast recovery, information systems integration,and interactive technology is proposed.(3) Expected results are analyzed from the aspects of technology systems,application system, information exchange system, and the regulation integrationsystem. Through comparison of the indicators before and after the project, theenhancement in distribution network security, reliability, ease of scheduling can bevisually found. Then, the economic and social analysis is carried out to prove thefeasibility and operability of distribution automation design and implementationscheme.
